Work-Based Learning for CS Professional Development
URI Provides Professional Development that prepares a certified teacher to deliver the Work-Based Learning for CS course.
The PD assumes the teacher has or is participating in the URI Intro to Computing & Data Science program (or similar CS program).
The PD includes all curricular materials necessary to teach the course.
Scholarship funding from CS4RI is anticipated in Summer 2022 for most teachers accepted into the program to attend the PD at no cost.
If there is a cost for PD, URI will notify you well before the start of the PD, and you will have the option to withdraw.
