Computer Science Concurrent Enrollment
High school students can earn URI credit (transferable to most colleges) for their Computer Science courses!
The Concurrent Enrollment Program at the University of Rhode Island is designed for motivated high school students who wish to get a head start on college credit and who are looking to be challenged academically while still in high school. The course students take at their high school counts for both high school and college credit. Students are taught by their high school teachers who have been specially trained in the course curriculum and must meet all University of Rhode Island standards.
The cost for RI public school students is free under the state's PrepareRI Concurrent Enrollment Program, and is highly reduced for RI private school students. Concurrent enrollment for schools/students outside of RI is in development.
