Teaching Computer Science Discoveries

The Teaching Computer Science Pre-service scholarship program is available to students who are pursuing a Bachelor’s of Education program in a Rhode Island college/university. The scholarship includes Summer 2022 tuition reimbursement for enrolling in URI’s CSC222 Teaching Computer Science and a $1,000 stipend, for completing the course with a B or better.

Upon successful completion of the course, students earn a Proof of Requirements for Endorsement Certificate that can be used to apply for the RI Computer Science Teaching Endorsement, once an official teaching certification is obtained.
