Inclusive Teaching in CS Professional Development
URI Provides Professional Development that prepares a certified teacher to incorporate Inclusive Teaching in CS practices in a computer science classroom.
The PD makes no assumptions about the background of the teacher, except that they are are willing to learn.
The PD is targeted to middle and high school CS teachers, other educators may be considered.
Scholarship funding from CS4RI is anticipated in Fall 2023 for most teachers accepted into the program to attend the PD at no cost.
If there is a cost for PD, URI will notify you well before the start of the PD, and you will have the option to withdraw.

Inclusive Teaching 2022/23 PD Schedule
URI is offering two sections of this PD training for the 2022-23 school year. More sections may be added based on demand. Each section is comprised of a six week online course. This program earns a total of 24 PLU hours.
