URI is a Code.org Regional Partner and we are seeking teachers who would like to teach Code.org's CS Principles curriculum in Rhode Island! This is a unique opportunity for teachers to attend a virtual Code.org week-long Summer 2021 workshop conducted by RI facilitators, and receive additional PD throughout the 2021/22 school year.
RI educators successfully completing this PD will become eligible to offer this course for concurrent enrollment. See the Concurrent Enrollment Program for details on student requirements.

URI offers one PD training for the 2021/22 school year. It is comprised of a 5-day virtual summer workshop, four follow-up meetings throughout the 2021/22 school year, and some additional online training. Those doing this PD must attend all sessions in this schedule.
